North West building firm nabs £17m residential hat-trick
Building group Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) is delivering 110 new homes across the North West through a multi-million pound contract hat-trick.
The deals are worth £17m combined and represent a mix of repeat business and fresh client wins for the Skelmersdale-based company.
CPUK is now on site at Hurst Green, Lancashire, where it is designing and building 30 properties for Hillcrest Homes.
The previously undeveloped 6.1-acre site is on the eastern edge of the village, near Stonyhurst College.
CPUK is turning the plot into The Warren, a community of 13 detached, four semi-detached and 13 terraced houses on Whalley Road. The rural homesteads comprise a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom properties. Completion is due in Summer 2019.
Elsewhere, the company is working with Altrincham-based property crowdfunding firm The House Crowd to deliver a 36-home scheme in Mossley.
Called Buckton View, the development will transform a vacant 4.3 acre plot on Micklehurst Road, near Mossley’s railway station, by Spring 2019.
CPUK’s third residential project of 2018 is due to start on site this month.
The company has been tasked with creating 44 timber-frame homes on redundant farmland, off Crescent Road in Crumpsall, for Breckside Estates of Prestwich. The project is forecast to complete by Autumn 2019.
CPUK managing director Steve Burke said: “Negotiating three substantial contracts is a great way to start 2018 and we will continue to grow our order book as the year progresses.
“It is also very satisfying to win repeat business from clients who understand and appreciate the clear benefits to everyone in negotiated agreements. More than 80% of our work is repeat business and negotiated contracts.”
