Manchester recruitment entrepreneurs establish second city-based business
Two entrepreneurs have set up a second recruitment company in Manchester after growing their first into a £1m-turnover business within three years.
James Fowler and James Warburton, who met seven years ago while working as senior consultants for the same firm, have announced the launch of Leaders in Care Recruitment.
The duo are the founders of J2 Recruitment, which focuses on financial services, commercial and energy sector roles.
Their new venture will deliver senior level and nursing recruitment services for healthcare organisations.
Heading up Leaders in Care Recruitment are Michael Turton, in the role of divisional manager, principal consultant Gemma Gill.
James Fowler said: ’We have founded Leaders in Care Recruitment upon the same principles as J2 – with our commitment to building an exceptional team spearheaded by Michael and Gemma, we strongly believe we can provide an unrivalled client and candidate experience within a typically underserved sector.“
James Warburton commented: “We really are thrilled to be adding to our portfolio another specialist business, and appointing dedicated and talented staff.
“With the key strategic appointments of Michael Turton and Gemma Gill, we intend to grow Leaders in Care Recruitment just as we have with J2, while retaining our bespoke, tailored approach we have become best known for.”
Leaders in Care Recruitment will operate alongside J2 Recruitment at Waulk Mill, a commercial office scheme in Manchester city centre.
