North West law firm Napthens is welcoming its largest ever intake of trainees in 2018.

Kirsty Halsted, Foridha Yasmin and Georgina Vokes are all starting training contracts with the company and a further six are due to join in September.

Kirsty, from Mellor near Blackburn, has worked with Napthens since 2013, joining as a legal secretary before her promotion to paralegal in 2017. She will start her training contract in the firm’s Litigation team.

Foridha, from Accrington, joined Napthens earlier this year as a paralegal. She is beginning her training in the Corporate team.

Penwortham resident Georgina joined the Commercial Property team this month.

Napthens partner Helen Lucking said the record trainee intake is a sign of the firm’s continuing growth and commitment the region.

She commented: “Developing our staff is key to our growth, and an important part of this is bringing on keen and passionate trainees and investing in this next generation of advisers.

“It’s a sign of success for both Napthens and the wider business community that we are increasing our intake of trainees this year.

“Along with these trainee posts, we expect continued growth of the business over the next 12 months in Lancashire and Cumbria, and we will announce further new appointments in the near future.”
