BT is recruiting 112 graduates and apprentices in the North West – here's where

BT has revealed plans to take on 112 graduates and apprentices in the North West.

The initiative will see the telecoms giant recruit across Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Skelmersdale and Accrington.

Positions available include roles in sales, customer service, cyber security, engineering and IT.

The move is part of a UK-wide recruitment drive, through which BT hopes to employ more than 1,300 people.

This is in addition to last week’s announcement from Openreach, part of BT Group, that it is hiring 280 engineers in the North West.

The chair of BT’s North West regional board, Helen Slinger, said: “This recruitment is more great news for our region. It underlines the leading role that BT plays in communities across the North West and is a tribute to the quality of our local staff.

“They play a vital role in providing essential products and services for the households and businesses of the North West, as well as, of course, being part of these local communities themselves.”

She continued: “As one of the region’s leading employers and investors, BT is committed to providing high quality jobs and careers and this latest recruitment will help ensure we deliver the best possible services for the people of the North West.”

BT Group currently employs 9,000 people in the North West.
