Fox Agency newcomers Charlotte Holgate and John Hebden

This week's Yorkshire appointments

Charlotte Holgate and John Hebden, Fox Agency

B2B marketing firm Fox Agency has added to its team with two appointments.

John Hebden joined the company from Agency TK as business development manager.

A marketing consultant with more than 10 years’ agency experience, John’s new role will see him nurturing leads, generating new business and developing accounts.

Charlotte Holgate, meanwhile, has taken on the role of account manager. Using experience gained across London and Leeds, Charlotte will be responsible for client accounts such as financial services firm Legal & General and tech company Brother.

Fox Agency director Ben Fox said: “This year has certainly proved busy for us with major client wins and new faces in the team.

“It’s great to welcome Charlotte and John; both have the right mix of experience, knowledge and attitude that fits in well at the agency.

He continued: “John will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to grow throughout 2018, and Charlotte will join a great team of account handlers that always ensure our client expectations are exceeded.”

Nick Etell, Gauntlet Group

Gauntlet Group, the Leeds-based insurance broker, has appointed Nick Etell as business development manager.

The role will see Nick using his insurer relationships and market knowledge to benefit clients and secure new contracts.

His experience spans the Leeds, Manchester and London markets, including a position at Henderson Insurance Brokers.

Gauntlet MD Roger Gaunt said: “We have been excited to create a role for Nick that not only utilises his experience in key sectors such as construction, healthcare, technology and manufacturing, but also provides our self-employed appointed representatives with a sounding board, an informed ear and a valuable broking asset.

“Nick has great insurer relationships and has already proved his worth since joining us.”

Nicki Mitchell, Lupton Fawcett

Yorkshire law firm Lupton Fawcett has promoted family lawyer Nicki Mitchell (pictured) to partner.

Nicki has been a solicitor since 1994 and secured specialist accreditation from family lawyer association Resolution in 2001.

Her work focuses on the financial aspects of relationship breakdown, including complex cases involving family companies, multiple properties and complicated pension arrangements.

Nicki said: “It is always good to be recognised by your peers for the work that you do so I am proud to have been promoted to partner.

“Lupton Fawcett has an extremely strong family law team which has an enviable reputation across our offices in Leeds, York and Sheffield. I am therefore looking forward to using my new position to help build on our success.”

The head of Lupton Fawcett’s family law department, Chris Burns (pictured), commented: “Nicki has a strong reputation for being tough but fair and works very hard with her clients to identify and achieve what they need.

“She believes very strongly in the importance of identifying the right way for each individual client to get where they need to be.”

Chris added: “She practices mediation and collaborative family law, as well as the more traditional methods of dispute resolution, and so is ideally placed to guide and support clients through one of the most difficult times in their lives.”

Four appointments, iSource Group

iSource Group, a Leeds-based recruitment firm focusing on IT and digital roles, has announced three new hires and a promotion.

Alistair Holmes, Liam Whitehurst and Jack Dagwell have joined the company as recruitment consultants.

The role will see them generating new business and managing the recruitment process for clients and candidates.

Alistair (pictured) said: “I love the fact that everyone at iSource has the same focus on building and celebrating long-term relationships rather than always looking for the quick wins.

“The atmosphere in the office is like no other. No one takes themselves too seriously which makes for a great working environment where everyone loves what they do.”

Meanwhile Sam Hameed, who has worked for iSource Group for seven years, has been promoted from head of practice (IT architecture and software development) to recruitment director.

Sam, who will now be responsible for all divisions and manage a 16-strong team of consultants, commented: “As a longstanding employee and supporter of the business, I’m proud to be able to take on additional responsibility which will see the business continue to grow and strengthen its leading presence within the IT, digital and change recruitment arena.

“Our long-term vision is to become the overall market leader and, with the team and solid client base that we already have in place, I have no doubt that this is achievable.”
