Former colleagues launch ‘no BS’ comms agency in Manchester
Two friends in Manchester have joined forces to set up their own PR and communications company.
Former colleagues Lisa Hughes and Victoria Haley announced the launch of HuHa, an agency focusing on the property, creative and ecommerce sectors.
In founding HuHa, Lisa and Victoria are looking to change how businesses work with PR agencies.
The duo believe there is now a need for more agile, transparent agencies run by people with a strong understanding of their clients’ industries.
Victoria supported clients throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East while working agency side. Prior to starting up HuHa, she was global head of PR and communications for North West-based Select Property Group.
She said: “Having been a client and worked with agencies of all sizes and kudos, I know there is a real need for agencies that operate a no BS policy.
“Clients want their customers to read about them for the right reasons and pick up the phone to do business with them. We want to work with ambitious and driven businesses that allow us to be a part of their team to help and support them to meet their business goals.”
Lisa has worked as a PR consultant for creative clients for almost a decade, including Manchester design firm The Neighbourhood. Before that, she led the communications department at TV and broadband company Liberty Global and worked in the press office at Transport for London.
Lisa commented: “Victoria and I work really well together. We share a hard-working ethos to get great results for our clients. Naturally competitive and with a proven track record in all sectors we are looking forward to making our straight talking agency a huge success.”
HuHa is based in central Manchester.
