Crafting company to hold drop-in creative workshop at Butterfly House hospice

International crafting company Stampin’ Up! is holding a drop-in card making workshop at Butterfly House, The South Bucks Community Hospice in High Wycombe. The three hour workshop will take place from 10am on Wednesday May 16th.

Research has shown that crafting has a positive impact on mental wellbeing as it aids relaxation and mindfulness and the event’s aim is to provide an opportunity for some respite for the dedicated and hardworking carers, volunteers and staff at Butterfly House. Members of the public who are interested in learning how to make cards are also welcome to attend.

Butterfly House provides palliative care, lymphoedema care, emotional and practical support, and complimentary therapies to help patients’ physical, emotional, physiological and spiritual wellbeing.
