DWF Manchester acts on latest tech acquisition at Equiniti
North West-headquartered law firm DWF has advised multinational tech outsourcer Equiniti Group plc on its acquisition of a specialist shareholder engagement company in the capital.
Equiniti snapped up London-based Boudicca this month for an undisclosed sum, expanding its offering and giving clients access to a broader range of EQ Boardroom services.
DWF’s Manchester corporate team provided legal services to Equiniti on the deal.
Frank Shephard, national head of corporate for DWF, advised alongside corporate partner Lisa Stavropoulos and solicitor Francesca Kinsella.
Frank said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Equiniti and are delighted to advise them on another deal which broadens their governance services and also enables their clients to have access to a wide range of new and unique benefits.”
The acquisition followed last month’s launch of an Equiniti fintech hub at Lawnswood Business Park in Leeds
