London agency Two-Up Digital powers Star Sports' launch of first betting site
Star Sports has announced the launch of its first online sports betting site in conjunction with new platform provider Two-Up Digital.
The new site is now live following two months of Beta testing, including during one of the biggest gambling event of the year, last month’s Randox Health Grand National.
Formed in London in 2017, Two-Up Digital specialises in providing technology and digital services to the online betting industry.
Founder Robbie Morris launched the company after his previous employer, Grand Parade, was acquired by William Hill.
Ben Keith, owner of Star Sports, said: “We provide a personalised and high-quality service in an industry dominated by faceless chains. We have long been looking to move online but not by compromising our commitment to first class customer service.
“Two-Up Digital has a fresh approach with a flexible platform that enables us, for the first time, to take our core company values into the online sports betting market.”
Robbie Morris added: “Our competitors’ technology platforms, including some of the biggest providers out there, are built on old, legacy technology that is unable to deliver the speed-to-market service that today’s operators want and expect.
“By taking a fresh, up to date approach, utilising technology standards adopted by the social media giants, we’re able to offer a platform that delivers much higher levels of flexibility, scalability and ultimately, a better customer experience for both operator and front-end user.”
Built around a microservice architecture, the Two-Up Digital platform provides all of the functionality required to run an online gambling site, including tools for customer management, trading, customer service, promotions and event management.
A widgetised approach means the platform is fully customisable with bespoke front end, feed and scoreboard integration options and a tele-betting facility.
