North East home improvements firm celebrates £6m half-year revenue

Pennine Home Improvements is celebrating a double-digit uptick in half-year sales.

The company generated revenues of £6m in the six-months to May – up 17% against the same period last year.

Pennine installs conservatories, orangeries, double-glazed windows and doors, operating from a network of showrooms across the North East.

Alongside the sales growth, the firm has announced the retirement of sales director Derek McLaren and the appointment of his successor, Paul Clifton.

Pennine Home Improvements MD Mark Tinnion said: “Our outgoing Sales Director has been instrumental in embedding industry leadership in terms of our products, service and our way of thinking into our exceptional sales team, so we needed to recruit someone who could continue that work.

“We consider ourselves very lucky to have secured Paul. He will bring peerless experience in crafting and implementing sales processes which are designed to give the customer the best possible experience and ensure that their finished Pennine product is tailored precisely to their needs.”
