Robertson appoints Operations Manager as it targets further growth

Construction company Robertson has continued to strengthen its senior team with the appointment of Wayne Denham as Operations Manager of its North East division.

With over 25 years’ industry experience, Wayne joins one of the largest independently owned construction, infrastructure and support services companies in the UK, with a well-established, impressive reputation.

Wayne joins having worked for the likes of Bowmer and Kirkland and Sir Robert McAlpine, where he played a significant role in delivering projects in excess of £50 million.

Garry Hope, Managing Director of Robertson North East, said: “Wayne joins Robertson with a stellar reputation, having worked in the industry for over 25 years. He is well respected by his peers and I am delighted to welcome him.

“His invaluable experience, especially in the education sector, will help the business to continue to grow. This appointment shows the ambition of the business, as we continue to expand across the region.”

Wayne has had an active role in a number of major projects across the North East region, including Newcastle University – Urban Science Building, Northumbria University Business School and Red Mall Extension – Metro Centre.
