Record £10m turnover for Northumberland’s SITS Group

Northumberland cloud infrastructure firm SITS Group is marking a decade in business with a record turnover.

The Cramlington-based company, which turns 10 next month, generated sales of almost £10m in its latest financial results.

SITS provides end-to-end cloud infrastructure services for clients in the UK and Europe.

Recent grow saw the firm expand its team of virtualisation specialists with a number of new hires.

The company was founded by directors Phil Cambers, Russell Henderson, Paul Watson and Paul Rutherford.

Commercial director Phil Cambers said: “Both SITS Group and sister company Pivotal Networks are now looking to the future and are making plans for their continued growth.

“Like many other industries, IT has seen huge changes over the last decade. The last 10 years have been immensely exciting and it has been a privilege to work with the people who have helped make us a success, both staff, suppliers and customers alike.”

He added: “We now need to focus on the future and ensure we are always ahead of our competition as that’s what ultimately gives us the edge in a highly fast moving and competitive marketplace.”

Technical director Russell Henderson commented: “We are immensely proud of our achievements over the last 10 years and the trust and reputation we have built with our valued customers and industry partners.

“We look forward to developing this further over the coming years.”
