Artisan cheese shop to open at Doncaster’s Frenchgate Centre
An artisan cheese business is preparing to open a permanent store in Doncaster.
The Chuckling Cheese Company will launch at Frenchgate Shopping Centre, where it previously operated as a popup, early next month.
Founded in 2012 by Emma and Stuart Colclough, the firm only recently opened its first bricks-and-mortar shop at Hildred’s Shopping Centre in Skegness.
The Frenchgate store will offer cheeses produced at Lymn Bank Farm in Skegness alongside artisan alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, chutneys, sweet treats and wedding cakes.
Emma said: “As a company we are very excited to be opening our store and becoming part of the Frenchgate Shopping Centre.
“We’ve had a pop-up store at the centre for a while and it’s been really well received so we can’t wait to finally open the doors of our permanent home in Doncaster.”
She added: “We’re looking forward to welcoming customers with a feast of samples from our cheeses, drinks and sauce selection.”
Frenchgate assistant general manager Karen Staniforth commented: “This is such an exciting time for Frenchgate – customers have been really enjoying The Chuckling Cheese Company’s popup store, so we can’t wait for them to experience the full range of products.
“The grand opening is set to be a fantastic event where our customers will be treated to some of the delicious cheeses on offer – you won’t be able to resist buying yourself a little treat to take home too.”
The Chuckling Cheese Company will open its doors on August 4.
