New craft beer venue in Harrogate for Cold Bath Brewing Co
Cold Bath Brewing Co has opened a new microbrewery and bar in Harrogate.
The venue occupies the former Cartridge World retail unit at 46 Kings Road on a 10-year lease.
Coldbath is a new venture for Harrogate friends Mick Wren, Jim Mossman and Roger Moxham.
Jim Mossman said: “It’s been hard work getting everything just right for the opening of the microbrewery but it’s been great fun.
“Seeing our own beers in production now is fantastic and the response we’ve had from customers so far is very encouraging.”
The trio signed the lease on the property with Leeds-based chartered surveyors Carter Towler.
Max Vause, trainee surveyor at Carter Towler, said of the deal: “This has been a particularly interesting project for Carter Towler.
“We have not only been directly involved with negotiating the new tenancy agreement on behalf of our client the W A Barker Family Trust but have closely followed the redevelopment of the building and the installation of the brewing facilities.”
He continued: “Whether people are looking to visit the brewlab of Cold Bath Brewing where recipes are created and honed or for a new drinking destination, we’re sure they’ll really appreciate all the effort that has been put into the new venture.
“The building was once a garage and the high ceilings and large doors have really added character to the microbrewery, as has the new mezzanine where the brewing process can be seen in action.”
Carter Towler manages a number of properties for the W A Barker Family Trust across the North.
