DRIVING SUCCESS FOR SOUTH COAST MOTOR GROUP

A south coast motoring group has handed over the keys to its 20,000th customer after serving the business community for 18 years.

Breeze Volkswagen captured the milestone by recreating a photograph taken when the company’s fleet team sold its 1,000 vehicle, back in 2004.

Martin Pye, who has been the fleet manager from the start felt this was a proud moment for his team.

He said: “As a small team of four we cover businesses needs from Poole through to Portsmouth and we feel this is a significant milestone.”

Breeze Volkswagen was launched in 2000, although Martin had already been meeting the growing fleet needs of the business community for its predecessor, Paige Motors.

“The motor industry is constantly changing, and vehicle technology has dramatically improved over the years and I feel this is what makes the job so varied and enjoyable.

“Our customers have a high expectation - and so they should. We work hard to understand their needs and to establish the right vehicle and finance and servicing package. I am very proud of my team.”

Rob and Becky Green, owners of Café Riva in Southbourne, said: “This is now our third car from the Breeze team. We’ll keep going back for all our company vehicles because of their consistently good service.”

Breeze Volkswagen is a family-owned and managed independent retailer specialising in both new and used cars. Established in 2000, Breeze also provides Volkswagen servicing and parts in addition to its dedicated fleet division as well as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Van Centres in Poole, Southampton and Portsmouth.
