Restaurant offering Japanese-Indian fusion to open on Soho’s Greek Street

A new restaurant combining Japanese and Indian cuisine is coming to Soho.

Gamma Gamma will occupy 1,722 sq ft across a ground floor unit and basement level at 6 Greek Street.

The company’s owners, Sakib Ahmed and Romo Chowdhury, have created a menu of pan-Asian tapas dishes and flavours from around the world.

Its offering will include an Asian take on a niçoise salad that features seared nori tuna loin, baby gem lettuce, soft boiled egg, truffle potato, green beans and cherry.

Commercial estate agents Restaurant Property secured the Greek Street premises for Gamma Gamma.

Danielle Agami and Gabriella Sether of Restaurant Property, who brokered the deal, said in a joint statement: “We’re delighted that we were able to secure such a prominent site in the heart of Soho for the owners of Gamma Gamma.

“We wish them every success for the opening.”

Gamma Gamma will launch in September.
