Hotel Indigo® Manchester - Victoria Station Reveals Leadership Team
Hotel Indigo® has unveiled the executive leadership team behind its latest residence, Hotel Indigo® Manchester - Victoria Station, which is set to open this October.
James McDevitt has been appointed as General Manager of the hotel, bringing with him 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. James has previously held leadership positions with InterContinental Hotels and Resorts in three countries before arriving in the UK to work with brands that include Guoman, DeVere Collection, Macdonald Hotels and Resorts and Hotel du Vin.
James is joined on the management team by Director of Sales Nicola Staley. Nicola has worked in the hotel and hospitality arena for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience including 17 years driving and directing sales for Marriott International’s luxury and lifestyle brands in the northwest. In her new role, Nicola will be responsible for leading a highly effective sales and marketing team, focused on developing and securing new relationships with businesses throughout Manchester and the wider regional area.
Andrew Green has also joined the team at Hotel Indigo® Manchester - Victoria Station as Executive Chef. Andrew will take the helm at Mamucium, a lavish 120-seat restaurant and bar and at M Café, a cosy 75 seat café located within the beautifully restored Grade ll listed City Buildings. The double AA Rosette winning chef, who was born and raised in Manchester, will serve up a menu of popular dishes influenced by his northern roots for diners to enjoy. Andrew takes the helm at Mamucium, after moving across from the city’s prestigious 5-star Lowry Hotel.
The hotel will be managed by leading third-party management company Interstate Hotels & Resorts, which operates more than 70 hotels and resorts across the UK.

BH Group is the developer that owns the building Hotel Indigo® Manchester - Victoria Station is situated in.

Positioned at the gateway of the Northern Quarter, one of Manchester’s most vibrant areas and a stone’s throw from Victoria Station, Hotel Indigo® Manchester – Victoria Station will be a 187-room boutique hotel, offering guests luxurious city centre accommodation. It is housed across the recently restored Grade II listed ‘City Buildings’ and what has already become an iconic, brand new 14 story, rotunda tower that sits at its side.
