Humber expansion for business recovery firm Begbies Traynor
North West business rescue and recovery firm Begbies Traynor has extended its reach in the Humber region with the launch of a Scunthorpe office.
The new base, located at Queensway Industrial Estate on Dunlop Way, will offer the company’s full range of recovery, financial advisory, asset, forensic and property services.
It follows a deal in February that saw Eddisons CJM, part of Manchester-headquartered Begbies Traynor Group, acquire CJM Asset Management, which has an office in the town.
The new base will be led by partner Andrew Mackenzie and operate alongside Begbies Traynor’s Lincoln office, which opened last year.
Andrew commented: “This latest investment in the region is another demonstration of our commitment to building our presence here and is part of our strategy of bringing the full Begbies Traynor Group service offering to SMEs, individuals and intermediaries located on the south bank of the Humber, along the M180 corridor.
“With offices in Lincoln, Sheffield, Doncaster and Hull, our Scunthorpe base will make us more accessible to businesses, individuals and professional advisers throughout the region.”
