Harrogate's Newby secures planning permission for latest residential scheme
Harrogate-based developer, Newby has secured planning approval from Harrogate Borough Council to expand its Springfield Court residential development.
This will include a further 26 luxury apartments, bringing the total number of homes to 61.
The exclusive conversion and new build development in the heart of Harrogate will deliver 61 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with private parking in a secure courtyard.
The conversion units are nearing completion and works on the new build homes is due to start on site imminently, with a sales office and show home opening this month.
Springfield Court is located within walking distance of Harrogate’s town centre on the popular Kings Road, situated next to many restaurants, bars and shops.
The location provides excellent transport connections with nearby Harrogate railway station and good connectivity to motorway networks.
Nick Moody, director at Newby, said: “The residential market in Harrogate is buoyant and Springfield Court is an ideal site for further expansion with its close proximity to the town centre, so we are extremely pleased to receive planning consent to further develop this exclusive scheme.
“Each apartment will be renovated for 21st century living and will be serviced by a range of amenities, including secure parking.
“This is our third town centre development in recent years and is undoubtedly one of the largest town centre schemes to delivered in Harrogate for a long time.”
