Sheffield law firm celebrates conveyancing industry accreditation
Specialist conveyancing firm PM Property Lawyers is celebrating their accreditation with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
The scheme is recognised as the industry standard for law firms working in residential conveyancing. Firms must go through a comprehensive application process to demonstrate that they have appropriately trained and qualified staff and a sufficient volume of transactions to ensure they are up to date with current best practice.
Managing Director Harvey Harding was delighted to achieve the accreditation. “We previously came under the umbrella of our parent, PM Law, but we now operate as an independent business. So it’s great to be recognised for all the hard work our team has put in.
“Buying or selling a home is the biggest financial transaction most people will ever undertake. More and more people are turning to specialist conveyancing firms because they know these firms have the expertise they need. CQS is a sign that the firm has the knowledge and experience to handle the process thoroughly and professionally.”
Harvey and the team at PM Property Lawyers aim to simplify the conveyancing process for consumers so clients can move house with the minimum of stress. The firm has been shortlisted for a total of eight industry awards in the last six months alone and Harvey is a member of the Policy and Strategy Board at the Conveyancing Association, working to improve the current system.
He adds: “CQS is the foundation for our goal of making PM Property Lawyers the best conveyancing firm in Yorkshire. With a fantastic team on board and new technology in the pipeline we’re confident we’re nearly there!”
