Double win for Cameo Digital with new talent and new business

TYNESIDE based Cameo Digital, the digital collective that disrupted the traditional agency model just over 1 year ago, has strengthened its service offering with the addition of a new consultant and an exciting client win.

Experienced marketer Lauren Archer has joined the collective, offering extensive Brand Communications services to Cameo Digital’s clients, including PR, brand positioning, content and social media management, event coordination and overall marketing strategy and support; complementing the expert digital services already offered by existing consultants, Charlotte McMurray and Gemma Neesham.

Following just under a decade spent in in-house Marketing & PR roles, including most recently as Head of Brand Marketing at Teesside-based eCommerce agency, Visualsoft, Lauren decided to move into self-employment at the end of June.

Cameo Digital MD, Charlotte McMurray, said; “Lauren and I worked together for around 3 years at Silverbean. It’s no coincidence that a lot of the work I’m most proud of has Lauren’s fingerprints on it somewhere, so I was delighted to be able to officially welcome her into the collective and work together again.

“Her innate understanding and skill in branding, marketing and PR work brings out what’s best about a company to the outside world, and she’s already doing great work for Cameo Digital clients”, she continued.

Lauren is no stranger to the industry, having picked up significant praise throughout her career, most recently in the international Women in Marketing awards 2017, as a finalist in the ‘Outstanding contribution to Brand Marketing’ category, as well as a listing in The Drum’s annual “Top 50 under 30 Women in Digital” in 2015.

The good news continues, as Cameo Digital have announced they’ve won a substantial account with North Tyneside-based Notify Technology.

Notify is an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) business on a mission to make workers around the globe safer at work, thanks to their free near-miss reporting smart phone app, NotifyIt, and their innovative paid-for advanced platform. The business counts Travis Perkins, Alexandra Palace and Birmingham City University as clients.

As Notify strive to grow their brand and business nationally and internationally, they needed support and looked to Cameo Digital to provide it. Lauren is now taking the lead on this account, working to build the Notify brand to realise its ambitions and achieve growth targets, working alongside Cameo Digital consultants dealing with various digital aspects.

Lauren explained: “I’m delighted to be working with Notify. Co-founders Duncan Davies and Andy Dumbell are passionate entrepreneurs set to really make a difference in how Health and Safety is managed in businesses across the globe, and they already have huge customers using and advocating for the Notify platform, which is a great performance indicator.

“We have some big things planned for the brand, along with upcoming launches to the Notify service offering, so I’m excited to play a part in their #SafetyRevolution!”
