CEO of breatheHR selected for LDC’s one to watch

HR software platform, breatheHR’s CEO, Jonathan Richards, has today been chosen as One to Watch by the LDC Most Ambitious Business Leaders Awards.

LDC is the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group. Founded in 1981, the company has a 35-year track record of success and has invested £4bn in more than 550 companies.

The organisation is all about backing business ambition, identifying leaders with a vision, and showcasing the very best of entrepreneurial spirit. The awards are sponsored by The Telegraph and are one of the most prestigious awards for business leaders in small to medium businesses.

Due to the extremely high standard and volume of entries this year, LDC have created the Ones to Watch list, which will follow publication of the Top 50 and be listed on the Top 50 online hub.

Richards co-founded breatheHR in 2012 and has served as the company’s CEO since its formation. He has rapidly matured the company with the software now impacting over 160,000 employees across more than 5,000 UK small businesses. Jonathan Richards’s comments, “It is such a privilege to not only be part of the awards, but also to be listed as a ‘one to watch’. We have been on an incredible journey which will continue for years to come, and it’s amazing to witness how our work is impacting other businesses. It enables the business owner or manager to get on with the real magic stuff which is the face-to-face, one-to-one with the employee.”

The awards ceremony will be taking place in London on Tuesday the 9th of October.
