Driving Talent Forward
Stoke Audi believe in driving young people forward, helping them to reach their full potential and the latest example of this is 15 year old, Heidi Leake.
At the dealership for a week’s work experience, Year 11 Heidi might have expected to be an observer, in the background, but not at Stoke Audi. She was given a uniform and encouraged to get stuck in to the daily duties of reception and telephony; welcoming customers to the centre, answering and directing telephone calls, making and serving drinks and she loved it!
Heidi’s mum, Debra, works at Stoke Audi and was delighted with how Heidi too to the work of work, “All mums think their daughters are amazing and I’m no exception! Heidi did a great job; in fact she did so well that she may well become a weekend receptionist.
“Teenagers have a bad image these days, but Heidi and her friends are lovely young people; Heidi is currently Miss Teen Staffordshire and joins me as an ambassador for the local Peter Pan charity. She did a great job here at Stoke Audi and thanks to the whole team for supporting her throughout her week’s work experience”.
Stoke Audi is part of family-owned Swansway Motor Group which employs more than 50 apprentices across the group.
