Tees Valley firm to deliver free training for North East and Yorkshire businesses

Tees Valley and North Yorkshire business owners can take advantage of an opportunity to build skills to develop their companies for free, by a local training provider.

Enterprise Made Simple, which has offices in Middlesbrough and York, is encouraging company owners to take advantage of the funded course, Going For Growth.

This programme, which is European Union funded, is a residential course and sees around 40 like-minded business men and women spend three days working on their company by participating in practical exercises based on real-life situations.

Since it launched in 2016, Enterprise Made Simple’s Going For Growth course helped over 1,000 companies 788 in 2018.

Enterprise Made Simple’s director, Andrea Clarke, said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed running this course over the last two years.

“All of the business owners and senior team members who have attended the course have not only achieved a qualification but have also been provided with inspiration, motivation and the knowledge to progress their company.

“We recognise that taking time out from your business can be quite daunting, but the three days allow attendees to work on their business, rather than in it, giving them precious time and space to develop new ideas, skills, work on growth plans and develop a strategy for the future.

“If funding wasn’t available, the course would cost over £1,000 per place therefore I would encourage any eager business person who is looking to take their firm to new highs in 2019 to book themselves on one of the upcoming courses.”
