Tailor-Made Media and The UN Put Sustainability in the Spotlight
Tailor-Made Media is proud to announce its involvement with The Business Debate on its 17 Sustainable Development Goals initiative in collaboration with The United Nations; a Partnership with Reuters Plus. The company won the social media outreach contract after an earlier successful campaign with TBD, a leading digital content and film production company with offices in London, New York, Berlin and Frankfurt, who are collaborating with the UN to raise awareness of the goals. The campaign had a hugely successful launch, with Tailor-Made Media managing the digital marketing element.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are part of the UN’s Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted by the General Assembly in September 2015. The SDGs are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace and justice.
Those involved in the campaign include companies across the globe, such as Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble and Airbus, with all organisations pledging the steps being taken in support of the SDGs. These commitments are being communicated by broadcasting via specially commissioned videos created by The Business Debate.
Samantha Ware, Founder and CEO of Tailor-Made Media, commented “To be asked to be part of the team to raise awareness of the 17 SDGs is a huge responsibility that we are taking very seriously. Tailor-Made Media is working hard to ensure the campaign is delivered in the most engaging and informative way possible.” She further commented “Everyone needs to be conscious of the goals so that we can achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. To be working with some of the most powerful organisations on the planet to communicate such important messages is both an honour and a clear sign of the direction we are moving in as a company.”
The Business Debate Director, Marlon Wolff said of Tailor-Made Media, “When we needed a company to help deliver the social media aspect of the SDG campaign, Tailor-Made Media were the only company we wanted to partner with. They truly understand digital marketing landscape and how to use it to create powerful messages and reach a mass audience.”
