£3m Morpeth property scheme to be unveiled in launch event
A £3m conversion of a Grade Two-listed building in Northumberland’s county town into residential accommodation is set to be formally launched to the public.
Northumberland Homes Ltd purchased the former Registry Office on Newgate Street in Morpeth last year and has since been working on converting the building, part of which date back to the mid-18th century, into 12 apartments while also retaining the building’s historic character.
Four bespoke bungalows are also being built within the grounds of the building, with the first two expected to be available for occupation by the summer.
Over 100 enquiries have already been received about the scheme from potential property buyers.
To mark the latest stage in the project’s realisation, Northumberland Homes is holding a formal launch event between 9am and 1pm on Saturday February 2 at the 4 Newgate Street, Morpeth office of property firm Bradley Hall.

“The launch event marks the next landmark in the Old Registry’s realisation… We’re excited to be putting the details of the scheme formally on show.”
