Local opticians celebrates colleague’s three decades of loyalty
A WYTHENSHAWE opticians is celebrating one colleague’s dedication to the store, as she marks over three decades of outstanding service.
Vicky Timperley joined the team at Specsavers Wythenshawe 30 years ago as a head receptionist, before quickly progressing to become store manager.
Vicky, who has dedicated customers who visit the store especially to see her, has recently been appointed as manager’s chair for the region, after previously managing five practices.
Her interest in health and her passion for helping people led her to the decision to join the Specsavers team, where she offers support to customers by providing invaluable advice and optical care.
Vicky has a vast amount of knowledge in the field of optometry, alongside an impressive range of skills.
Amanda Pedder, store director at Wythenshawe Specsavers, says: ‘We’re extremely pleased to celebrate Vicky’s long service achievement. She encompasses what Specsavers is all about, providing the highest level of service and care to the public.’
Commenting on her anniversary, Vicky says: ‘I’m excited to be celebrating 30 years with the store. I look forward to continuing to enhance the great work and reputation that already exists at Specsavers Wythenshawe. I’d also like to thank all of our customers for making our jobs so rewarding.’
