New Hong Kong home for digital agency following Dairy Farm client win
Digital design agency This Place has announced the opening of a new Hong Kong office with pan-asian retailer Dairy Farm as its founding client.
From the new Hong Kong office, This Place will be working with Dairy Farm, which operates 7,400 outlets under well-known brands in a range of stores across South East Asia, on refining its digital agenda.
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, the digital and user experience specialist has offices in Seattle and Tokyo, with clients around the world including T-Mobile USA and Woolworths Australia.
Dusan Hamlin, CEO at This Place, explained: “Expanding to Hong Kong not only provides us with a gateway to China and far easier access to other markets such as Malaysia and Singapore, but also places us close to Tokyo, where our group is listed.
“The region offers a myriad of opportunities and we’re excited to bring our global expertise and experience to Hong Kong.”
The Hong Kong office will be led by This Place COO Andy McGinn, who has experience of advising global brands across a range of business and technology challenges.
Andy McGinn, COO at This Place & MD of Hong Kong, adds: “I am thrilled to have this opportunity to help This Place start a new chapter in Hong Kong.
“At This Place, we find that working closely with our clients is what takes our work to the next level, so there’s very significant strategic value and benefit to expanding to Hong Kong and being close to our current and future Asia-based clients.”
