VChain Technology makes mark in Dubai with identity solution
London-based VChain Technology is one of seven companies that has been chosen for the Dubai Future Accelerator programme in partnership with Emirates and GDRFA.
VChain Technology’s GDPR-compliant identity-as-a-service solution attracted interest from the programme, identifying an opportunity to streamline identification processes within air travel.
The firm will work with the airline and the GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners) to solve three core challenges to enhance passenger experience.
The programme will give the London company access to senior decision makers at Emirates, support in accessing Dubai-based businesses and government contacts, and mentors to advise on growth opportunities.
Irra Ariella Khi, founder and CEO of VChain Technology, commented: “We’re proud to be working with a government and an airline that are so forward thinking, as we work to achieve something that has never been done in the aviation industry before.”
“Together with our partners, Emirates and the GDRFA, we are delivering innovation that could potentially set a new world standard in improving passenger experience and ultimately the immigration and security process with innovative passenger ID checks.”
