Helen Liddle, Smart Resourcing Solutions
Newcastle-based graduate recruitment and employability consultancy, Smart Resourcing Solutions (SRS) has appointed Helen Liddle as university partnerships manager.
Helen’s career history includes a variety of people leadership roles at the John Lewis Partnership and British Airways.
In her new role, Helen will be supporting universities with employability projects including the award-winning large scale assessment centre simulations which are held on campus and at football stadiums throughout the UK.
SRS’ managing director, Sophie Milliken, commented: “Helen joins us at an exciting time as we finish our financial year with a 127 per cent increase on turnover and a wonderful variety of established and new university clients.
“I’m confident that her enthusiasm and passion for development will be a major asset to the team.”
Naomi Teasdale, George F. White
Senior planning consultant, Naomi Teasdale has joined George F. White as a key recruitment move for the firm’s County Durham and Yorkshire offices.
Naomi has joined the land, property and business consultancy to further enhance its range of planning and development services, attract a wider client base and help to grow the planning team.
Educated in town planning, a career history in the private sector, and vast experience in development planning, Naomi is a strong addition to the planning, architecture and development team.

“Naomi’s skills and experience perfectly complements our niche offering of the highest quality planning advice.

Due to increased business growth, award winning design and installation company RDA, based in Hebburn Tyne and Wear, has recently appointed three new apprentices in both its commercial and operational teams.

Hebburn-based design and installation company, RDA has recently appointed three new apprentices in both its commercial and operational teams.
Jamie Patterson has joined the commercial team to assist with ordering and estimating whilst working towards an EAL Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Building Services Engineering Technology and Project Management (QCF).
Logan Liggins has joined the operations team as a joinery apprentice working alongside one of RDA’s site managers, shadowing and learning from him as well as undertaking an NVQ Level 2 Joinery Course.
Finally, Grace Maher, RDA’s administration assistant is currently working towards an apprenticeship in business administration assisting with the admin, health and safety and office management.
Jamie said: “I have really enjoyed my first couple of months at RDA and I am finding the apprenticeship to be a great step to helping build my future.
“Not only am I gaining knowledge of the industry, but I am also getting technical experience, high-quality training and a recognised qualification. I am looking forward to continuing to work for RDA and gain more experience.”
Ross Miller, Kevin Clohesy and Isabel Herrera, Technically Compatible Sunderland Software Centre-based Technically Compatible has appointed three new members to the team.
The roles include: Ross Miller, chair of the board; Kevin Clohesy, head of customer success; and Isabel Herrera, marketing manager.
The firm has plans to double its customer base and more than double revenues in the coming year.
Newly appointed chair, Ross Miller, who had a career at Compaq before getting into the world of tech startups in the early noughties, has vast experience of scaling ventures and raising funds to achieve highly profitable businesses.
He said: “Technically Compatible is a tech disruptor; we have transformed the way our clients recruit and a great many employers will feel the benefit of software that allows them to make more informed recruitment decisions. “I am delighted to be joining Technically Compatible at such an exciting time in the company’s development. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve, working with Mike and the team.”
