Two new partner promotions for Shakespeare Martineau
The Birmingham office of law firm, Shakespeare Martineau, has announced the promotion of Tom Long to partner and Ravinder Johal to associate partner.
Tom Long is an experienced employment lawyer, specialising in the education sector, employment disputes and trade union relations. He works closely with a number of large public sector clients, as well as acting for those in the private and third sectors.
Long has been with the firm for three years, gaining a strong reputation as a dependable, knowledgeable and creative lawyer. Efficiency is important to Tom, and he hopes to ensure that the employment team continue to deliver effective support in a timely manner to every client.
Ravinder Johal has over 13 years’ experience advising clients in the insurance sector, with a focus on liability investigations and dealing with claims of significant value. Working with both insurers and self-insured companies, Ravinder defends a variety of claims, providing top-quality legal advice with a down-to-earth approach. One of Ravinder’s main aims for his promotion is to further strengthen service offerings across the board, maintaining and building on the high standard of advice that the team already provides.
