Jask Creative focuses on expansion after acquiring photography studio
A Midlands full-service creative and marketing agency has acquired a well-established photography and videography company as it looks to grow its business and meet the demands of its burgeoning client base.
Solihull-based Jask Creative has joined forces with SM2 Studio, a photography and videography agency originally based in Wolverhampton, after collaborating on several high profile campaigns over the past 10 years.
The newly expanded business, which employs 30 staff, will now offer its clients first-class, in-house photography and videography for all projects – including branding campaigns, websites, specific promotions, and PR activity.
Stuart Jordan, Managing Director, said: “This is an exciting time for all of us at Jask because we have SM2’s expertise as an integral part of the team, ensuring we can deliver fully rounded, extended and refined creative marketing services to our existing and expanding client base.
“After working together on several projects, it was clear that it made business sense to join together to create what promises to be a creative powerhouse. We’re looking forward to unveiling our first projects as a joint team.”
Shaun Mallen, co-founder of SM2 Studio, added: “The new partnership with Jask is a fantastic opportunity, not only for SM2 but also for our clients, too. As well as continuing to produce superb photographs and videos for our existing clients, we’ll also embark on new, creative projects with the great team we now have around us. We’ve already got a number of exciting projects under way, which will help to define the direction in which the agency is going.”
Jask is a specialist in creative design, branding strategy, digital media, content marketing and web development services for clients in industries as diverse as sport, construction, not-for-profit, financial and professional services. Clients include Bibby Financial Services, Unity Trust Bank, McCarthy & Stone, and Umbro.
Over the past three years, Jask has secured several major new clients, as well as seen an upturn in existing client work, which has led to its turnover increasing by around £1 million.
