Hole-in-one for golf firm with Leeds United business partnership
A West Yorkshire golf company has partnered with Leeds United Business Club to maximise exposure and promote its brand.
Brandlink Golf, which is based in Honley near Huddersfield, has partnered with the business club in order to utilise the football club’s audience of sports fans at Elland Road.
Founded by Andy Broughton in 2017, Brandlink began by organising corporate and charity golf events, before expanding into the retail market offering a range of products including custom-fit clubs and spike-less golf shoes.
As part of the partnership, Brandlink will see its company logo displayed on both pitch and crowd-facing digital LED screens as well as on StadiumTV screens within the concourses.
In addition, the firm will be featured in StatTracker content shared to Leeds United’s official social media pages, enabling it to reach fans online as well as on match days.
Brandlink Golf founder Andy Broughton commented: “The challenge is to raise the profile of the brand. It’s been a learning curve, in terms of brands and products, to give more choice to customers and how to market to the right sort of people.”
He added: “The decision to join the Leeds United Business Club was taken with my heart because I truly believe it will be good for the business.
“I’m very passionate about Leeds United and I know that the supporters always look favourably on any businesses associated with the club.”
