London edtech firm boosts global footprint with latest expansions

A London-based edtech firm has built on its global growth by expanding into new international territories.

Learning technology specialist Atom Learning has announced its expansion into Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The firm’s online learning platform,Atom Prime, is now used by schools in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Nigeria and Abu Dhabi.

Founded by Jake O’Keeffe and  Alex Hatvany in 2018, Atom Learning uses AI to create accessible learning platforms, in an effort to close the gap in attainment between the most and least privileged children around the world.

As well as expanding internationally, the company has doubled its headcount in the past two months and seen 50 per cent month-on-month growth.

Jake O’Keeffe, co-founder of Atom Learning, commented: “We have seen phenomenal growth since launching Atom Prime in May, doubling headcount in just two months and now expanding internationally.

“This demonstrates a clear appetite from schools and parents for innovative solutions to improving access to high-quality education.

“We firmly believe in the power of technology to enhance educational outcomes and reduce the gap in attainment between the most and least privileged.

“That is why we continue to invest in the growth of the business, to constantly improve the platform and to reach greater numbers of students across the UK and overseas.”
