Rebecca Hunt, Hill Dickinson

Law firm Hill Dickinson has appointed Rebecca Hunt as partner on its health litigation team in London.

Rebecca joins the firm from Capstick Solicitors, where she worked as a partner since 2012, and has over 15 years of experience of advising NHS organisations on issues relating to clinical risk and healthcare litigation.

Rebecca has represented NHS organisations at all stages of the litigation process, advising on complex serious incident investigations involving third parties such as the police and HSE through to representing NHS trusts at trial.

In addition, Rebecca has particular knowledge in claims involving neurological injury at birth and a special interest in patient safety initiatives in this area.

James Chester, CO—RE

Real estate developer CO—RE has appointed James Chester as development manager.

Having worked as assistant development manager at Lendlease since 2017, James has built up a range of experience across a number of different classes, including complex and mixed-use development sites.

In his new role James will be working across a range of ongoing and future projects at CO—RE, in the City of London and the West End.

Commenting on his appointment, James said: “It is hugely exciting to be joining CO—RE as it continues to break new ground and hit new milestones.

“I am looking forward to helping to deliver some truly first-class projects and working with the most talented people in the industry.”

Alex Jones, FirstPort

Residential property management company FirstPort has appointed Alex Jones as regional manager of London and the Home Counties.

Alex joins the business after spending 21 years at Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants in a range of related roles.

In her new role, Alex will be managing a portfolio of approximately 150 developments, with a team of ten property managers.

Katerina Anagnostopoulou Politou, HLW

Architecture, design and planning firm HLW has appointed Katerina Anagnostopoulou Politou as senior workplace strategist.

Katerina joins the firm with experience in developing real estate strategies strengthened by her architectural background.

In her new role, Katerina will work closely with the global strategy and discovery team, focuing on developing workplace projects as well as looking at company-wide innovation.

Shelley Davies, PromoVeritas

Promotional compliance specialist PromoVeritas has appointed Shelley Davies as its managing director.

Shelley joins the firm after more than 12 years at The Big Kick agency, where she was client services and business development director leading both the agency’s retail campaigns and its expansion into the USA.

The news comes as the firm’s founder Jeremy Stern transitions to chief executive. Jeremy explained: “We’re delighted to have Shelley join us as we experience a sustained period of growth in both revenue and breadth of services.

“The combination of her overseas experience together with her hands-on knowledge of running promotions makes her ideally placed to ensure PromoVeritas continues to go from strength to strength in the UK and globally.”

Scott Chow, Simon Moran, Anna Roe and Gareth Knight, TransferGo

International payments specialist TransferGo has made four appointments to its senior team during a period of growth.

Scott Chow joins the firm as chief product officer from Santander’s Asto, a fintech which develops financial tools for SMEs and freelancers - where he was CPO. Prior to this he held the same position at Starling Bank.

Simon Moran has come onboard as the firm’s chief commercial officer. Simon was previously CCO at multi-retailer mobile loyalty & payments platform Yoyo, and prior to that he spent over eight years as a member of PayPal’s UK senior leadership team.

Anna Roe joins as chief people officer from her previous role of global head of people at Airbnb management specialist Airsorted. Before that she was global recruitment lead (engineering) for Transferwise.

Gareth Knight has been appointed as chief growth officer. Gareth’s previous roles include CMO of B2B SaaS business Mettrr, and CMO of gym marketplace PayAsUgym.
