Environmental specialist in Newcastle bolsters growth with five-figure expansion
A local specialist geo-environmental organisation has relocated and expanded following a five-figure investment.
Roberts Environmental Ltd, which employs 10 staff, has relocated its head office in Newcastle as part of its strategy to strengthen and expand the business.
The company was originally based in offices on Grey Street with a workshop at i8 Lynnwood and has moved to 1 Croft Stairs to allow the consolidation of its operations.
Jeff Roberts launched the company in 2012, which specialises in geo-environmental engineering and land risk management.
He said: “We are delighted with our new head office and its location in Newcastle city centre. The move ensures our ability to continue to best serve our client base whilst also providing efficiency for our engineers by incorporating operations onto one site.
“The location provides easy access onto the A1 for staff heading out on site to deliver our services. Over the past 18 months, we have invested heavily in the business including staff recruitment, new vehicles and equipment, expansion into new national geographical areas and now the leasing of the office space.
“We are looking forward to our open event in which we will introduce clients, associates and fellow businesses to our new office.
“We’re confident the move will bolster our growth and we look forward to ending the year on a high and welcoming the opportunities which 2020 will bring.”
Roberts Environmental Ltd clients include businesses across various sectors including investment fund Columbia Threadneedle, national brands Lidl and Anchor Care Homes, housebuilders Gentoo and Home Group and land owners The Crown Estate.
