Digital and creative agency Zeal has won Gold at the Digital Impact Awards, the UK’s largest celebration of digital work in corporate communications.

The tenth annual Digital Impact Awards was held at London’s iconic Brewery, the event welcomed guests from a variety of companies and agencies, all vying for the coveted prizes.

Zeal won Gold in the ‘Best Use of Existing Social Media Platforms: Small Budget’ category for their ‘Big Thank You’ social media campaign with NHS Leeds CCG.

The ‘Big Thank You’ social media campaign provided an opportunity for the people of Leeds to show their appreciation for the cities ‘Winter Heroes.’ To thank individuals from all walks of life – GP’s, nurses, hospital porters, carers, local bus drivers and neighbours who all make a difference to others lives.

“All the judges were impressed by the authenticity of message, the sheer breadth of research and the results achieved on such a small budget. Great use of social influencers, really helping spread the winter heroes’ message – the amount of research and strategy to make the campaign a success was impressive,” said one judge.

“Excellent use of research and social media on a low budget, to drive awareness, increase in traffic to the campaign website and help lift morale at a difficult time. Good pure social campaign.”

This tenth annual awards signified the leaps and bounds that digital communications are continuing to make across the professional plateau. The sheer quality and character of the evening’s winners exemplifies not only the homogeneity of today’s digital communications, but equally its importance.”
