Growing property firm unites teams and strengthens regional presence with central Newcastle office

A North East chartered surveyor and property consultancy has relocated to a new city centre base in order to support ongoing expansion.

Property specialist youngsRPS has moved into a new larger office in the centre of Newcastle in order to join together its commercial property and planning teams, as well as boost its presence within the local market.

youngsRPS has relocated into the former Stanton Mortimer office on Grey Street, following its acquisition of the firm two years ago.

youngsRPS director, Michael Blake, commented: “While our traditional rural and residential services remain extremely important to us, we have seen significant developments in our commercial work; both from our property and planning sectors.

“Our planning consultants are moving from Hexham to Newcastle, joining our existing commercial property team.

“Our move to Grey Street not only allows for increased visibility but is a hub for commercial activity and ensures we can offer a greater range of services to our clients across the region.”

Local law firm Sintons supported the property specialist’s acquisition of Stanton Mortimer. Tom Wills, real estate partner at Sintons, added: “Following a period of strong growth for youngsRPS, this prominent and sought-after city centre location will act as a focal point for the continued development of its commercial and residential property, planning and rural work presence in Newcastle and the wider North East.

“We are delighted to have supported the team on yet another significant transaction for the business which paves the way for further growth.”
