West Yorkshire fuel supplier doubles in size with latest acquisition
A fuel and tank infrastructure servicing firm has doubled in size after acquiring a national company.
Craggs Environmental Ltd, which is based in Hebden Bridge, has acquired the business and assets of Hampshire-based business LCM Environmental Ltd.
The deal, supported by a team of Yorkshire-based advisers including Estelle Brown and Charlotte O’Connor of Clarion Solicitors, will see the two firms merge into an expanded fuel management business.
Chris Bingham, CEO at Craggs Environmental, commented: “This is really exciting news and I’m delighted to welcome the team from LCM Environmental into the business.
“This acquisition not only provides us with a wide range of new equipment and a new fleet of vehicles such as vacuum tankers and fuel polishing rigs, but we are also joining our teams with over 40 members of staff bringing together a vast range of skills and industry knowledge, increasing the services to our large combined customer base.
“We have a very exciting and busy time ahead of us, as the opportunities for the expanded business with such a broad range of skills and experience are simply huge.”
Estelle Brown of Clarion added: “This acquisition marks another key stage in the growth of Craggs Environmental and we wish it every success going forward.”
