NEBOSH Success for Pentagon Assurance Safety Advisor

Hard work has paid off for Chris Cooper, Site Safety Advisor at South Shields based Pentagon Assurance after successfully gaining his NEBOSH national general certificate qualification. The certificate, seen as the gold standard in health & safety qualifications and recognised by the HSE, is aimed at professional health & safety advisors. Originally working in the shipyard industry as a fabricator, Chris has had an extensive career progressing to working in the offshore industry as a driller with the world’s major oil and drilling companies. More recently he has worked on construction sites as a site supervisor from machine moving to waterwell drilling. Having also recently gained his IOSH Managing Safely qualification the NEBOSH qualification strengthens the already vastly qualified team and shows continuing investment in the workforce. On his success, Chris commented, “I’m delighted to have gained the NEBOSH qualification and appreciate Pentagon for investing in me, after many years of working in the health and safety sector it’s recognition of not only hard work but my experience within many industries.
