Deals secure occupiers for 47,000 sq ft on Nottingham Industrial Estate
A POPULAR Nottingham industrial estate is now almost fully let with two companies taking on leases at the site.
East Midlands commercial property agents Commercial Property Partners and Innes England have completed a duo of deals totaling 47,000 sq ft at Castle Park, letting properties to civil engineers Via East Midlands and a cosmetics distribution business.
Located on the corner of Queen’s Drive and Wilford Road, Castle Park is arguably one of the best locations for industrial and warehouse occupiers in Nottingham offering direct access to the city centre and is well-positioned along the A453.
The distribution business has moved in to 33,000 sq ft premises, following a refurbishment programme undertaken by the landlord.
Owned by Nottinghamshire County Council, Via East Midlands looks after for the county’s network of over 4,100 kilometres of roads.
The company’s new 14,000 sq ft unit will be used as a vehicle maintenance depot after their previous location in West Bridgford was sold for redevelopment.
Sean Bremner from CPP commented “Securing the deals within these two units is great for the scheme.
“The location and accessibility to both the inner and outer ring roads of the city is tantamount to Castle Park’s success in attracting high calibre occupiers.”
Scott Osborne, Associate Director at Innes England, commented: “Castle Park has a wide range of occupiers with a variety of uses, such as storage and distribution, as well as trade-counter operations, and it is also in an excellent location on one of the main routes in the city.
“These lettings confirm the continued demand for well-appointed, modern warehouse accommodation within the East Midlands and the strength of the industrial market.
“There is strong interest in the 23,992 sq ft unit remaining on the estate.”
