Exciting times ahead after inaugural first meeting
Business Triage held its inaugural quarterly members meeting on Tuesday 28th January with an exciting line-up of business speakers. The theme of the speakers was focussed upon the environmental agenda and the implications for the North East in both strategic and practical terms.
We were honoured to have Alistair Westwood (Assistant Director CBI North East) opening proceedings. The CBI NE team have been incredibly helpful to us over the last few months and we cannot thank them enough.
The event was held in one of the excellent conference rooms at the Maldron Hotel in Newgate Street. An overview of Business Triage’s principles of membership was given - everyone looking after their fellow members, reputation and brand as well as their own, whilst servicing introduced opportunities. This was followed by a presentation on the Business Triage ‘gateway’ concept, and recent real-life case studies were used to illustrate the opportunities and strengths of the process.
The speakers’ presentations were well received and stimulated lively discussion and debate, and everyone commented on have gained ‘real value’ from this first event. Kevin Maddison said, “We are delighted with our first members meeting, the feedback has been tremendous.”
