Tazie Taysom, ARTIQ

ARTIQ, an art rental company, has appointed Tazie Taysom to its board as commercial director.

In her new role Tazie will work across ARTIQ’s client base with a focus on corporate and public realm projects. Her project involvement is both commercial and curatorial with an emphasis on leasing collections.

Previously the company’s head of sales, Tazie joined ARTIQ in 2016 as an art consultant, having completed her BA in History of Art from UCL and worked for several years in the corporate executive search sector.

Patrick McCrae, CEO of ARTIQ, commented: “Tazie’s work since joining the business in 2016 has been hugely impressive, her drive and dedication to what we are doing at ARTIQ is infectious.

“She has proven herself not only in terms of sales success, but also in helping build our team.

**Richard Moore, Aprirose/Almarose **

Aprirose, the real estate investment company, has appointed Richard Moore as group chief executive of its hotel management platform. The appointment comes as Aprirose unveils the platform’s Almarose name.

Richard joins Almarose with dual expertise in finance and an in-depth knowledge of the hotels sector. He most recently served as area senior vice president UK, Ireland and Western Europe for Radisson Hotel Group.

Moore will lead and develop Almarose Hotels & Resorts, Aprirose’s hotel management platform, as the business continues to look for opportunities to grow and invest in its upscale portfolio. The company, which Aprirose launched in February 2019 to create a newly dedicated senior leadership team to manage assets under its ownership, now operates under the name Almarose Hotels & Resorts, with Moore at the helm.

Manish Gudka, CEO of Aprirose, said: “Following the launch of Aprirose’s hotel management platform, we are celebrating an exciting time for the business as we not only unveil the Almarose name but also welcome Richard as the Group CEO.

Nigel Shepherd, Ampla Finance Legal

Legal financing company Ampla Finance Legal have announced the appointment of Nigel Shepherd as adviser.

Nigel brings over 35 years of family law experience to the role, having been awarded the Cornwell Award for Outstanding Contribution to Family Law.

Commenting on the appointment, Commercial Director, Louise Hall, said: “We are honoured to have Nigel on board as an adviser, a sign of our commitment to developing the best possible service for UK family law firms.

“His experience and network are second-to-none and will be invaluable as we continue to develop our offering.”

James Gregory and Gaby Sims, LK2

LK2, a sports, leisure and architecture specialist, has appointed James Gregory as a team leader and Gaby Sims as sport & leisure strategic advisor.

James has joined the LK2 team from a sports facilities consultancy and will be the team leader in London and the south.

He commented: “For the past four years I have continued to build my career in sport and leisure and have extensive experience in survey consultation design and consulting.

“My new role is a great opportunity for me to continue developing my career and to actively shape the business and LK2’s reputation in the capital.

“We have lots of exciting plans in the pipeline and I am pleased to be part of this progression.”

Gaby, who recently completed her masters in sport law, has joined the firm as a sport & leisure strategic advisor.

She commented: “I’m very excited to be developing my career in sports and leisure with LK2, it’s my passion and I can’t wait to support the senior team in shaping our sports law offering.

“LK2 is a forward-thinking business and as part of my role, I’ve been given the opportunity to work on a number of exciting schemes across the UK to incorporate sport, leisure, health and wellbeing into communities.”

Camilla Taylor, TravelTime

TravelTime, part of iGeolise, has announced that it has appointed Camilla Taylor as chief operations officer.

Camilla has held leadership roles in high-growth businesses for the past seven years and joins TravelTime from global addressing disrupter what3words following a period of rapid expansion from 20-120 people.

iGeolise CEO, Charlie Davies, commented: “Camilla is an outstanding addition to the leadership team at TravelTime.

“Her experience as both an investor and an operator building companies and scaling businesses through product-market fit to commercialisation, comes at the right time.

“More than ever, we believe TravelTime has the potential to turn the search industry on its head. The market is there, and our tech is ready to go, so our focus is on building an experienced commercial team to deliver growth and value for shareholders. We’re delighted to have her on board.”

**Nick Parsk, Quantuma **

Business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Nick Parsk as an appointment-taking director.

Nick joins Quantuma from Wilkins Kennedy, where he spent 18 months as a director, specialising in corporate insolvency and restructuring across the South of England. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at insolvency practitioners CVR Global.

In his new role, Nick will work alongside Quantuma partner Chris Newell to support the firm’s Thames Valley operations, as well as utilise his extensive contact base across the South East.

Nick commented: “What attracted me to Quantuma was the clear upward trajectory that the business has been on in recent years. Having spoken to both Chris and Carl [senior management], I saw the passion towards what they’ve already achieved, as well as the plans they have to continue to expand.

“There are already great systems in place within the firm, and I look forward to building on our offering across the Thames Valley region.”

**Helen Sachdev, Wilmington **

Wilmington has announced the appointment of Helen Sachdev to the board as a non executive director and chairman designate of the remuneration committee.

Helen brings a wealth of experience to Wilmington following a successful blue-chip executive career in retail at Sainsbury and Tesco, in retail banking with Barclays and in residential property with Marsh & Parsons.

She is a non-executive director and chairman designate of the Loughborough Building Society and was non-executive director of Communisis plc from June 2018 until its acquisition in December 2018.
