This week's Yorkshire appointments
Richard Bamford, CBRE
Real estate advisor has appointed Richard Bamford as the managing director of its Leeds office.
CBRE’s head of building consultancy for National Offices for the last decade and part of the firm for over 25 years, Richard will continue to lead the national Building Consultancy teams following his new appointment.
Richard Bamford commented: “After more than two decades with CBRE, predominantly based in Leeds, I am looking forward to taking the Leeds business forward and to realising our continued growth ambitions.

Gill Farry, Clarion
Law firm Clarion has appointed Gill Farry as legal director on its real estate team.
Over the last 20 years, Gill has worked for several Leeds law firms in acting for a range of clients dealing with the sale, acquisition and management of investment portfolios, providing support on corporate transactions as well as acting for both companies and individuals in relation to the leasing of retail premises and office space.
Having acted for a number of clients within the retail and leisure sector, Gill has experience in taking and granting leases for a national supermarket and dealing with property matters for a number of businesses that either operate on the high street or within multi let shopping centres and retail and industrial estates.
Gill commented: “Clarion’s Real Estate practice is renowned for the focus it places on building close, long-term relationships with clients.
“This very much fits with my own approach - I enjoy really getting to know clients and understanding what is important to them about their business and how this needs to translate into the property documents I am negotiating for them.

Shirelle Grant, Third Foundation
AI and machine learning organisation Third Foundation, has appointed Shirelle Grant as chief operating officer.
Formerly the director of client management at YouGov, Shirelle has also held the role of director at B2B marketing automation agency Stein IAS – responsible for the China division based in Shanghai.
Commenting on her appointment: Shirelle said: “It’s such a pivotal – and exciting – time to be involved with Third Foundation’s vast development.
“Knowing the team’s capabilities and its impressive growth plans, I was eager to be a part of an organisation that’s leading the charge in helping businesses to utilise data correctly.”

Safeera Khan and Anna Ford, UKcaravans4hire
Online booking platform UKcaravans4hire has appointed Safeera Khan and Anna Ford as customer service advisors.
Safeera joins the firm with a background in travel, leisure and hospitality, while Anna has customer experience from the likes of NHS Direct and Liverpool Victoria.
Both Safeera and Anna will have the responsibility of liaising with caravan owners to help maximise the effectiveness of their rental listing and to assist guests with bookings and queries, as well as the day-to-day running of the website.

Stephen Wood and Eleanor Ingilby, Sanlam UK
Sanlam UK has appointed Stephen Wood as a chartered wealth manager and promoted Eleanor Ingilby to head of its Harrogate office.
Stephen brings over 16 years of experience to the role, and began his career in accountancy for multinational corporations including Exxonmobil and AstraZeneca.
Stephen commented: “I am delighted to have joined Sanlam at this crucial stage in its development across Yorkshire and the region.
“The business has been advising clients from the Harrogate office for over fifteen years, and we are helping our clients to navigate the current market unrest to help them achieve their financial goals.”
