National developer set to launch first North East residential project

A housebuilder which has completed projects across Yorkshire and the South East has begun work on its first project in the North East.

Persona, which was founded in 2018, has commenced work on its latest development in Hebburn in South Tyneside.

The Ellison Grove development will comprise a combination of two, three, four and five bedroom houses.

Joe Cook, executive director of development at Persona, commented: “We want to be different to all the other large housing developers across the UK. All profits from our new build sales are reinvested into the provision of multi tenure developments and tackling housing shortages across the country.

“As well as the social purpose of the company, we’re also trying to do things differently when it comes to the design of our homes, their affordability and, of course, our customer service.”

The development in Hebburn represents a return home for Persona, which forms part of Newcastle-based Home Group.

Joe continued: “We’re delighted to be starting work in Hebburn as the region is really close to our hearts. We can’t wait to see North East people enjoying their new homes.”
