Engineering consultancy announces "at least" 15 new Yorkshire roles
A Yorkshire engineering consultancy has announced that it is expanding its team as it grows its business.
Environmental, planning and engineering consultancy Arcus Consultancy Services is looking to appoint at least 15 new members of staff.
The business, which currently employs 80, is looking for experienced people to support the existing team, and new recruits can expect to work on a diverse range of clean energy projects, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, hydrogen and battery storage.
Arcus’s managing director, Greg Shillabeer, commented: “As the renewable energy sector continues to grow and develop, we are keen to ensure our clients have access to the very best technical expertise.
“These opportunities are arising in Arcus at a very exciting time, as we provide high-quality environmental assessment services on a diverse range of clean energy projects, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, hydrogen and battery storage.
“We have ambitious plans for the next five years in terms of turnover and growth.
“Appointing the right mix of talented and experienced people, whilst supporting the development of our existing team, is tremendously important to growing our business, whilst at the same time retaining our positive culture and can-do approach to our work.”
