First phase of "stunning" Whitby residential development brought to market

The first phase of a new residential scheme on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire coastal destination of Whitby has been brought to market.

Nine properties at the Castle Fields development on the grounds of the historic Sneaton Castle in High Stakesby have been released for sale via local estate agency Hendersons.

Developed by York-based development firm S Harrison, Castle Fields will comprise a range of properties from two-bedroom bungalows to five-bedroom detached family houses, with the first homes scheduled for completion at the end of the year.

David Clancy from S Harrison commented: “It’s a very unique development with views of the moors complemented by the spectacular backdrop of Sneaton Castle.

“The homes are being built to the highest standards, and there will be 16 different house styles to choose from.”

Nick Henderson from Hendersons, added: “Castle Fields has generated significant levels of interest and we have already taken our first reservation.

“The glorious location of this stunning collection of houses and bungalows, alongside Harrison Homes’ exacting design and build quality is really appealing to both local buyers and those from further afield.”
