In his new role, René will be responsible for driving the company’s scale-up strategy, international expansion, and partnership development, while reinforcing key customer relationships worldwide.

René said: “I’m excited about the opportunity to lead 1plusX’s new expansion phase, and to work alongside a passionate team of world-class data scientists and martech innovators.
“I look forward to meeting with our partners and customers at a time when guidance on privacy compliance, and how to market in the post-cookie world, has never been more important.”
Andrew Pringle, Scoro
Scoro, an all-in-one business management platform, has announced the appointment of Andrew Pringle as vice president of sales.
Bringing over 15 years of sales experience, Andrew joins Scoro from digital document transformation firm, Conga, where he served as vice president of Southern Europe.
He has previously held senior roles with logistics business DX, contract management solutions specialist Exari Systems and a variety of other technology businesses such as O2 and Datapoint.
In his new role, Andrew will drive the evolution of the business’s sales approach, focusing on encouraging incremental change to deliver a sustainable model for growth.
Andrew commented: “Scoro really appeals to me because of the current, vital need for digital transformation across the globe.
“Organisations need one killer solution and Scoro is great because it is all-in-one.
“Especially considering the many challenges this year has brought, this is a huge bonus for business leaders looking to transform their companies, whether to accommodate remote working, improve efficiency or support digitalisation.
“I’ve already loved the recruitment process and can see the business ‘walks the walk’ when it comes to providing an end-to-end and efficient platform. I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on their ongoing success.”
Peter Ryan, Hyperoptic
Hyperoptic, a full-fibre broadband provider, has announced that it has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Peter Ryan as managing director of infrastructure.
Peter joined the company in June 2020 and is responsible for the continued nationwide rollout of Hyperoptic’s full fibre network.
Ryan has 20+ years’ experience in network deployment across the world. He previously served as chief network engineering officer at National Broadband Network Company in Australia, where he scaled the network operations from 2.4 million active premises to six million active premises in 2.5 years.
He has also held senior positions in Vodafone UK, including head of service operations.
Peter Ryan commented: “Hyperoptic is perfectly positioned to capitalise on changing market dynamics. To unlock its potential, it needs to exponentially increase its footprint to deliver as many great customer experiences as possible.
“I am looking forward to using my experience to enable the company to take full advantage of this opportunity by scaling its network deployment.”
Dana Tobak, CEO at Hyperoptic: “Peter is a strategic recruit. He is renowned for successfully scaling networks and this experience will be invaluable as we fast track our rollout across the UK. I am delighted to welcome him to the executive team.”
Rachel Beckett, Yourkeys
Yourkeys has expanded its team by hiring Rachel Beckett as business development representative.
Rachel started her career with Redrow immediately after leaving school and stayed with the company for six and a half years.
She undertook a range of sales and marketing roles, eventually working with the group marketing team.
Rachel has worked for Plus Dane Housing, where she was involved in processing Help to Buy applications, and also has experience in healthcare marketing.
Rachel said: “I joined the team in August and have settled straight in. My role is to be the first point of contact with Yourkeys, so I spend a lot of time networking on Linked In and speaking to new homes developers over the phone.
“The Yourkeys product is fantastic. It’s something the industry is crying out for and something I wish I had had access to when I was working in new homes sales roles.
“Yourkeys offers transparency to everyone involved in the transaction. For sales progressors, this makes their role much more straightforward, saving time and money.
“I am so happy to be working with such a great team of people. The amount of effort and drive within the team is something I honestly haven’t seen before.
“This product is so needed in the industry and I feel like developers are waking up and realising that the digital way is best. Their sales teams may have access to sales progression updates, but the customers need that at their fingertips too.”
Therese Stowell, Appvia
Cloud-native management company Appvia has announced the appointment of Therese Stowell as its first product director.
At Pivotal, which has now been acquired by VMWare, Therese led product management in London.
She enabled Pivotal to deliver in excess of $20m in projects for Fortune 2000 customers via Kubernetes, CloudFoundry Platform and adjacent products. Therese also played a key role in delivering strategic products.
She commented: “The benefits of the cloud are so massive that, in the future, nearly every organisation will be cloud native.
“However, using technology such as Kubernetes to make this a reality can be far from straightforward for a lot of companies.
“There is huge scope to develop new solutions that help businesses on this journey and enable them to focus on delivering value for their customers.
“This is why I’m thrilled to join Appvia, which is at the forefront of the industry, and I look forward to doing my part in creating a new generation of solutions for Appvia’s customers.”
