Taylor&Emmet shortlisted for two regional awards

Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is in the running for two industry accolades at this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards.

The firm has been shortlisted in the private client and residential property categories, only a week after winning Solicitor Firm of the Year (North) at the national Wills and Probate Awards.

Taylor&Emmet’s probate and residential conveyancing departments will now compete against the region’s top solicitors to be recognised as leading lights in these two practice areas. The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony held on December 15.

Steve Hinshelwood, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “The Yorkshire Legal Awards are an opportunity to show our appreciation for all that is good about the profession at a regional level and we are delighted to be named finalists in two categories this year. Our teams are excelling in the face of challenges no one could have predicted back in January and it is an honour to have their hard work recognised by an esteemed panel of independent experts.”

Organised by publishers, Barker Brooks, the Yorkshire Legal Awards celebrate outstanding talent across the region. Shortlisted firms must demonstrate achievement in their area of practice, dedication to clients and contribution to the community.
