Dragons' Den gin service tops off revenue with 76% increase

A gin subscription service featured on Dragons’ Den has announced that its revenue has increased by 76 per cent as its membership grows.

Craft Gin Club, based in London, has hit over 100,000 members this month, pushing its year to date revenue to £14,799,812 compared to £8,425,004 for the same period in 2019.

Following the country’s switch to at-home drinking during lockdown, membership has grown by 66 per cent, selling the equivalent of one gin and tonic every 2.5 seconds.

Craft Gin Club also saw a 100 per cent increase in monthly subscriptions and a 500 per cent growth in its new online shop.

Jon Hulme, co-founder and managing director, commented: “Craft Gin Club’s membership has doubled from 50,000 members to 100,000 in just 18 months.

“This is a huge milestone and a testament to our incredible Craft Gin Club team and members, who are at the heart of our business.

“As e-commerce continues to accelerate in the UK and globally, we have invested in our online shop by expanding the range and refining the user experience.

“We feel incredibly proud and lucky to see such strong growth and member engagement, despite these challenging times.”
